Assistant Project Manager
REF PM 1702.20
Purpose of the role
Provide support to Project and Asset Management throughout all the activities carried out to prepare for and achieve the division’s goals.
Responsibilities and daily activities
- process the purchase requests based on the purchase orders for each area of investment with a view to completing the internal approval procedure;
- assist the P.M. in monitoring the budget for Capex (extraordinary maintenance) and fitouts (relative to stores);
- assist with controlling and obtaining documents from the contractors and/or outside consultants;
- assist with the preparation and drafting of service and/or procurement contracts based on the approved company standards;
- carry out targeted inspections of work sites, where necessary;
- assist with any and all other activities carried out by Project and Asset Management.
Job requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Construction Engineering;
- Ability to manage processes and projects;
- Good communication, problem solving and teamworking skills;
- English;
- Good understanding of MS Office and AUTOCAD;
- Willingness to relocate;
- Previous experience, even brief, in an engineering and/or construction firm preferred.
