We are present in 12 Italian regions and 13 Romanian cities

Our presence is concentrated in Italy (93.8% of the portfolio) and, as of 2008, we are also present in Romania (6.2% of the portfolio).

 Italy

We are present throughout the country, (12 regions out of 20) though primarily in northern and central Italy.  Our assets are primarily found near urban centers along main thoroughfares which allows for easy access.

Our network of shopping centers reflects the geopolitical structure of Italy where the population density in big cities is relatively low, but there are numerous urban centers with less than 100,000 inhabitants. In order to meet demand, we prefer midsize centers, well positioned in their catchment areas. Centro ESP, for example, is found just outside Ravenna in a tourist area where there is little competition and the center, therefore, has a dominant position in its area.

 Romania

In 2008 we acquired the Winmarkt Group, which owns the country’s biggest chain of department stores found in the historic centers of 13 midsize Romanian cities.  The Winmarkt centers are the main shopping destination for residents, as well as veritable meeting places: competition notwithstanding, they have become part of people’s daily lives.
