The IGD Group is the most important Italian listed group in the retail real estate sector, a dynamic sector of primary interest to Italian and foreign investors. We own and manage properties in Italy and Romania where we operate shopping centers. We have been listed on the Euronext STAR Milan segment of Borsa Italiana since 2005. Our portfolio was worth €1.97 billion at 31 December 2023.

IGD is a socially responsible group with a long term view

Our group was formed in 2000 following the spin-off of a portion of the real estate assets held by Coop Adriatica (now Coop Alleanza 3.0) and Unicoop Tirreno, who are still  our main shareholders. We operate our shopping centers with a view to the long term, striving to maintain maximum value over time. Sustainability is part of everything we do and we work to always act ethically and in accordance with the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

Our portfolio

Our revenue is generated primarily by the rental business which, in 2008, allowed us to become the first SIIQ (Società di Investimento Immobiliare Quotata) or REIT (real estate investment trust) in Italy. This regime, which calls for compliance with stringent requirements, is consistent with a long term vision and the non-speculative nature of our investments.

Our work is dedicated to both the enhancement of our existing portfolio, as well as the development of a pipeline of new investments.

Our portfolio is balanced and geographically diverse. It comprises 54 properties in 12 Italian regions (over 93% of the portfolio). A large part of our shopping centers are well positioned in their reference catchment areas. As of 2008, we are also in Romania through Winmarkt, the country’s biggest chain of department store which accounts for about 6.2% of our portfolio. At 31 December 2023 we had about 1,396 leases with tenants in our Italian shopping centers and about 662 in Romania.
